Astrid Chastka Inc. is a creative studio specializing in a wide range of artistic and spatial projects including set design, art direction, installations, and interior design.
Astrid’s degree in architecture and previous experience as co-founder/creative director of both a clothing brand and a jewelry line offer a solid foundation for generating conceptual strategies and implementing them with an artistic detail. This depth of experience also yields fluency across creative platforms (Creative Suite to 3D modeling to physical making) and a comfortable foundation for design and fabrication of larger scale build-outs.
Astrid believes that the most exciting new ideas can be generated in the gray area where multiple fields meet. She is constantly exploring new ways to weave connections between her current projects and materials and processes learned in her previous fields. She seeks to propose inventive, unexpected concepts that manifest as beautiful and thoughtful visual experiences.
When not on set, Astrid is happiest eating cheese and playing Italian card games.
